This is a vintage Nikos handwoven art jacket with scarf circa 1980s. Beautifully textured, the rust brown collarless jacket closes at the waist with a woven button. Oversize, dramatic puff sleeves add to its dynamic shape. It features a matching scarf.

In great condition with wear consistent with age and use.

Nikos Handwoven clothing from Ashland, Oregon was founded in 1975. The pieces were sold at exclusive boutiques. Nikos Mikalis, the designer, believed `These garments are in the investment-buying category, for women who are not zanily flamboyant but have a flair for wearing fashion.'
