A natural undyed Icelandic sheepskin rug with a longer-length lustrous top coat. This is a natural deep chocolate brown with a burst of sunkissed highlights across the body in warm golden tones.

The sumptuous feel and dramatic colouring will add texture and comfort to any room in the house. Use as a throw on the sofa or chair, over the end of the bed, on garden furniture, or even on the floor as a rug! 

Icelandic sheepskins have two coats: a soft dense undercoat (Pel) and a long outer coat (Tog), giving depth and luxury to the rugs.

We hope the image on the website gives you a good indication of the colouring, but every 'rug' will be unique as this is a wholly natural product. We have photographed one of the sheepskins and very softly blown air into it, to show how fluid the fleece is. It also looks like bubbling lava! 

These are the most amazing sheepskins. Due to the natural tanning process, the suede back is soft and supple making the whole sheepskin fluid and giving them a lovely drape.

These sheepskins are eco-tanned using non-chromium-based products that are less harmful to the environment, and with a low carbon footprint, they are very environmentally friendly.
